I am creating the election map for the election of 1948 in my timeline, "Hats In The Ring - A US History." It's pretty much random right now - I originally thought of Henry Wallace winning a second term, and right now it's looking a bit like it. So, I'd like you all to vote for who you'd like for President.

The options are James Strom Thurmond of the State's Rights Party, Harold Stassen of the Progressive Party, Henry Wallace of the Democratic Party, Everett Dirksen of the Republican Party, or Farrell Dobbs of the Socialist Party.

I'm doing a spreadsheet of all the voting percentages, which I base the map on. I suggest you read the timeline before voting.

And, I just thought of calling it as a short name "TL-1912" :D.

That's a pretty interesting timeline. It's not at all impossible that the electorial system could've gone all to hell during that time period if the Bull Moose party didn't go down or one of those Southern parties endured.

Though I never could see Eugene Debs amounting to anything on a national level.

damn you good sir! i see eye to eye with Henry Wallace, and would vote Socialist in most elections, and i've always felt bad for Harold Stassen, he got fucked over in OTL. i voted Stassen

and who voted for Strom Thurmond?:mad::mad:

Sorry for not posting in your threads recently, been away. I voted Republican, and afterwards found out he's from my state :D
