Who could Henry Frederick prince of Wales marry?

So there have been a few threads on this but I don't think I e ever seen a definitive answer.

Henry Frederick was the eldest son of James I of England. He was said to be quite Protestant abs seemed to be quite liked by the people. Hendied ib 1612 after his sisters marriage.

Had he survived, who could he have married? His father wanted a Spanish marriage, but that was hugely unpopular and unlikely. Could he marry a French princess? Are there any Danish princesses around? Perhaps a daughter from the house of orange? Ornwould James if no Spanish marriage could r found look
To the empire and the Austrian Habsburg?

Maria seems like the reasonable option. I suppose James would also need to change his views on things?
Not nesessarily. She was the OTL preferred Protestant candidate for Charles I, though grabbed by Swedes. I think that James would look in the same direction for his elder son, once he expresses the desire to not marry a Catholic. After all, Spanish match is impossible agewise (Anne of Austria is taken by France, Maria Anna of Austria is just a kid), and the Medici proxy princess is of lower rank than Maria Eleonora.

This is very true so seeing James compromise there likely makes parliament more Biddable. I do wonder who Charles would marry

He did marry to Henrietta and wanted to marry a Spanish infanta, I think a Archduchess is his best pick for wife.
It was James' wish of playing peacemaker that played the key part in the decision.
However, Maria Anna of Spain did not wish to marry a Protestant (and Charles did not wish to convert; TTL there is also an additional obstacle of him being younger brother, so he is too low in rank for Maria Anna - no match with Duke of York when her sister married a King), and Austria has literally no Archduchess of age (OTL Electress of Bavaria & Queen of Poland are too young for marriage to happen in James' reign, and 30 years war would make such a match impossible).
By 1620, there is the only quasi Habsburg bride left https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudia_de'_Medici - but even it makes minimal sense, as 30 years war is unfolding, and proxy princess does nothing to change this.

The OTL French match may be possible for cultivating the French support, but it is unlikely France would want it, given how Charles is just a second son here.

Given the circumstances, Charles may remain unmarried until his brother's reign, and then get married to somebody like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte_Stanley,_Countess_of_Derby - that's the nobility, not Royality alliance, but it fits Charles' status as the Duke of York. And it fits in cultivating the support of French Protestant nobility.

Also, for likely match for the hypothetical son of Henry IX and Maria Eleonora there is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christina_Magdalena_of_the_Palatinate-Zweibrücken princess, as I think that he will try to make marriage alliance with Sweden ASAP in the late 1620ies. May also become the Duchess of York if Charles is unmarried by this point, but unlikely.
I think a French protestant noble with connection to Dutch and Palatinate ruling families would fit Henry's ideas about his brother's wife, provided he grews out of childish bullying of his kid brother (he once told that he would make Charles an Archbishop once he's the King, because of how ugly Charlie's legs look).

Aye I agree, Charlotte for Charles makes a lot,of sense, as does Christina for Henry and Maria’s son.

I agree with this. Anne would be earmarked to marry her Palatinate first cousin (Frederick Henry), me thinks. James would be for Swedish princess (either Christina Magdalena or an ATL child of Gustav Adolph & Catherine of Brandenburg), & Henry... IDK. Margot de Rohan, who was OTL offered to Prince Rupert?
