I am currently still working on my America the Fallen(AtF) timeline. However, like everyone I have many ideas for timelines. Whenever I get stuck and don't know where to go on AtF, I would like to have a back up timeline to clear my head. I have 4 ideas that I have mulled around in my head.

Empire of Liberty
This timeline focuses on America and the PoD is Jefferson winning the 1796 election.

Malice Towards All and Clarity for None
This is a civil war timeline. The North still wins the war but it is much more costly. The Confederate government eventually goes on the run and Robert E. Lee decides to continue with guerilla warfare.

One Slip
The PoD is in 2002, when George W. Bush is in surgery, the surgeon slips up and the president dies on the operating Table. Cheney then becomes president. The U.S. does not go to war in Iraq, and in 2004 Cheney doesn't run. (I know this doesn't fit before 1900, but it is the only one after 1900 I have swirling around in my brain).

Liberty or Tyranny
This timeline is about a prolonged American Revolutionary War. The PoD is the Americans loosing the battle of Saratoga. France does not put its support behind the Americans, so the Revolution takes longer. Washington dies in 1781, and Benedict Arnold takes over. In 1783, Arnold leads a coup against the continental congress and against the state governments. The war ends with a costly American victory in 1786.

So which one of these appeals to the most people? Which ever one it is, you won't see it for a while, not untill I get stuck on AtF.(I'm not stuck on it right now, I just haven't had the time to do any writing with all of my classes assigning research papers at once.)
