I have a couple of ideas for a time line I want to do and want you guys to help me decide which one to post first .
TL one :The Romans abandoned Britain in the 5th century .The Britons under a man by the name of Vortigern almost succeeded in establishing a stable society ,or Roman remnant .If it was not for some Saxons that they hired to protect them ,who decided that Britain was to nice for the inhabitant to not share .Their leader Hengest did the original night of the long knives and killed all the British leaders .
Suppose he did`nt and the Roman civilization in the British isles continued ?What would then happen ?
TL two :The young united states fractures when some people question the usefullness of the confederation type government that had been in use and want a different one .Among these new nations is the kingdom of Virginia under George I ?Now what ?
I need a few people who would be willing t help me on these TL as advisors .People who know about the eras in question .
So then tell me which one you would rather hear .

I would much rather see a 'Manifest Destiny'-less North America, but it better be well-written and non-zany..

Right so far a few people have voted but no body has offered to help me with information and writing of the TL .

It's because researching a timeline is really time consuming and most people would rather spend that time researching their own timelines where they have complete control over what happens rather than someone else's where they don't.

Trying to crowd-source a TL is just about the worst way to go about writing one. Don't try to 'Tom Sawyer' people here. It might be summer, and this place might be flooded with high school history nerds, but there is still a core of really smart people here who see through that kind of BS.

If you want suggestions and advice with regard to the creative/writing process, I'm more than willing to advise where/when able, but it's your TL---your project, your task. The best part is, you can make that task as large or as small as you want.

If you want something a bit more compact to start with, try a 'TLIAD/W/M', with which you can narrowly focus your research and, thus, the scope of the TL to a few key events and their consequences.

I don`t need help for the whole TL just somebody who knows some resources .Also it would be nice to know somebody who could make maps and other graphics because my computer can`t do it .And I am not smart enough to figure it out .
