Like the title says, which technological or weapon invention made by either the Nazis or the Soviets would have been more useful to the Western Allies (i.e. US, UK and Commonwealth nations) if they'd gotten access to them and been able to design their own version. The latest point in the war they can be given anything is the end of 1942.

The WAllies did pretty much have all of that except the V-weapons and assault rifle (and even that last one is arguable: the BAR is an automatic rifle which is just one step removed from an assault rifle), and neither of those are useful enough to make a substantive difference. The V-weapons ultimately cost more to make then the damage they inflicted and the assault rifle is a small arm in a war where the deciding weapons are artillery, armored vehicles, and aircraft.

Useful of the above? They had sloped armor tanks, they had jets (not that the German ones would have made a difference to them), they had rockets (not that were that useful), and the V-weapons were of no use to the Allies during WW2, they were only important post-war. Really the only thing that was marginally useful was the StG, which wasn't really that big of a deal in total context, even though it was better than the Garand and gave German infantry fire superiority in certain fire fights when the MG42 couldn't weigh in. I'm not even sure what 'other' there would be to insert besides the above. Uboat tech wasn't really necessary to win in the Pacific, chemical weapons weren't used so that's not help, the Allies cribbed German cluster bombs IOTL the Allies were ahead in electronics, cannon technology wasn't that big of a deal to copy, AFV tech wasn't improved by choice rather than lack of Allied developments on that front. Really I cannot think of anything that was really that significant other than say Panzerfausts, but the Allies developed the Super Bazooka that made them just as effective as the Panzerfaust, but reusable (just not introduced before the end of the war). Pretty much other than a few areas that weren't useful to the Allies to defeat Germany or Japan the Wallies were ahead of or equal to the Axis in most areas.
