Which Ethnolinguistic Group deserves a wank?

You know what, since the New World is getting so little love:

How about the Ojibwa or the Algonquin family. Not sure how to do this exactly ... but, hey, its an idea :)

The Algonquin/algonkian family was fairly wanked pre-contact as it was. They were perhaps the most widespread language family in North America.

My choice for who would deserve a wank are those groups which went extinct or nearly extoct post-contact:
Beothuk
Huron/Wendat
Mississipians
Mahicans
Etc.

Tocharian. I'd love to see one or more Tocharian-derived languages survive to the present.

Celtic.

Arawak.

Khoisan.

Tupi-Guarani.

The survival of the European languages that got replaced by the main language of their state of origin, and saw their number of speakers decline because of centralist nationalism, is a scenario that appeals to me - the Celtic languages of the British Isles and Brittany, Corsican, Occitan, most of the languages spoken in Spain other than Castillian that aren't Catalan (since it's very much alive, as far as I know), most Italian languages, etc. A federalist French Revolution could be enough to prevent their almost complete disappearance.

I'd prefer a more complete survival of the Celtic languages, not just in the British Isles and Brittany but throughout the rest of France as well along with Belgium, Switzerland, and much of Spain.
