Partly because of the thread I made
here,on the topic of China in the early 20th centaury. The topic was brought up when I was speaking with a few friends of mine,we threw some ideas about how a Chinese Dynasty could survive to today. Not just survive, but thrive in another good point. Now there are a lot of dynasties to choose from, but to be fair..the Imperial ones will only be used in the poll. Also, there are some Dynasties that branched off from others..so if you want to vote for the Southern Song Dynasty..just vote Song Dynasty.
As for the Dynasty you would think would survive, give a reason..because this is where it gets interesting. In the end,the discussion went down to 3 possible reasons for a Dynasty surviving in modern times...and by modern it is after 1911..the end of the Qing Dynasty.
Reason 1~
The will of the people. For those who know their Chinese history,Dynasties rise and fall..over time. But they fall due to the power structure and possible corruption of the government. This reason is China being wise to the ways of the west and the world, and does not let their Dynasty decay.
Reason 2~
Changing of the seasons. Dynasties fall,it is unavoidable..but new ones replace previous ones. This is a choice if you think that a Dynasty on the poll would have fallen, but a similar one would replace it.
Reason 3~
Foreign intervention. China is unable to create a new Dynasty on its own, thus a foreign power or force comes in to help. A good example is that the USA helps China after the Qing Dynasty falls, and possibly helps China maintain order while a new one is established. Hence, the Empire Of China.
