At the very latest 1807, when Henry Stuart died. There may be a Stuart succession now, but they aren't Stuarts. Once the last living son of the Old Pretender is dead, it would be replacing one foreign dynasty with another. There'd be no point.

Having them just stick to Ireland or Scotland might make them more acceptable, though the English King would never allow it. And for good reason, as the 'Bonnie Prince' only saw them as springboards for which to invade England form and to then move to London, ditching the dirt poor areas.
