When is the earliest that volley fire using arquebus could appear?

"evolutionibus" was the term where the Dutch were inspired by Roman military drills to make the standard rolling volley fire a thing in combat.

Based on this being (supposedly) the crucial factor in transforming the arquebus/blackpowder from a siege tool to a brutally effective infantry weapon, what is the earliest that you could have seen primitive "Line Infantry" - as in, full blocks of drilled blackpowder soldiers?

You have to invent more effective blackpowder weapons much earlier, that can compete with crossbows and longbows. Didn't the arquebus dominate, because it was cheaper to drill soldiers than employing skilled archers? Until the early 18th Century, blackpowder weapons couldn't be loaded fast enough to prevent Rundaschiers and Pikemen to charge during loading breaks. So ther lies the difficulty. Very early Blackpowder guns were often exploding because of overheating. Maybe more sucessful and mass produced muzzleloaders would skip the Landsknecht formation era ?
