What would the Nazis do with the Arctic regions of the USSR?

What would the Reich do with the Arctic areas of the USSR if they won the war and conquered it to the Urals?

An example is the island that the Tsar Bomba was tested on IOTL.

Imaginative low cost death camps.

Repeat after me: The Nazi's were and always will be incarnate evil. As moral people, we cannot and should not get past that. Ever.

a path to Japan, during a couple of months of the year the Northern Sea Route allows 3 week passage to the Pacific. observation stations along the islands and part of the coast to allow safe flights the rest of the time (or weather stations that do double duty)

Not much. Maybe mining or forestry in any places where that makes sense. Camps, nuclear testing, missile launches, tossing industrial waste. There's not much use to the land besides having it. There might be a few attempts to colonize parts of it, but really, they'd have more than enough land already as is.

Any arctic lands taken from the USSR is purely decorative in the short and mid term future. Long term you might start hearing about more resources, but that's very long term.

From what I understand Norway and Denmark were to be wholly subsumed into the Greater Germanic Reich, so I doubt they would be gifted anything. Maybe Finland?

German plans for the organization of the new Greater Reich tended to change rapidly and pretty much everyone in the Regime had their own pet proposals. It's hard to know what the Germans would have actually done post war.

Beaides Genocide of course. That was pretty consistent.

honestly.. mining.. lots of resources are in the coastal areas, fishing, forestry . gulags to be converted the normal Nazi stuff. fairly certain they are not going to open them up for greater tourism .. stock it with brandy and cognac .. plant some plastic palms.. and 5 star hotels

Like several people have said, mining, fishing and penal settlements. Several hubs along the Arctic coast could well be engaged in all three. Later, missile bases, too. I have to disagree about forestry, though. The Arctic is pretty poor for that. There would be a lot of territory that is actually feasible for forestry in the Nordics and more southern parts of (previously) Russian areas.
