What would the "CP" refer to themselves as if they were victorious?

Simple. I have a feeling they might refer to themselves as the allies, seeing as the victorious alliance, throughout history, has tended to do that. OTOH, I'm not quite sure if the Germans and Turks refer to themselves as the "CP" even now...though with American cultural dominance, they probably do.

On that note, what would they refer to the "allies" as? Perhaps it very dependant on the CP victory scenario for both questions, and whether the alliances made were different.... also the extent to whic hthey were victorious, and later history as well?

Ideas?

The...winners?

I don't know. Central Powers sounds about right, since they were all position around south-central Europe and all. Also, as victors, the would the "Centres" around which "Power" and stability would radiate. ;)

If Italy fights on their side, they'd refer to themselves as the Triple Alliance. Their enemies were the Triple Entente.
What if the sides were like this:

"CP":Germany, AH, Bulgaria, Ottomans, Rumania, Netherlands
"Allies":UK, France, Russia, Belgium, Serbia, Japan, Greece, Italy

And the CP won. The term "triple" would be flawed anyway.

What did the Central Powers refer to themselves during the war and after when they were not victorious?

I saw a wartime postcard from Germany showing images of German Emperor Wilhelm II, Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Josef, and Sultan Mehmed V, with the title declaring the "Drei-Kaiser-Bund."

Here it is:

Yes, that's it. The Drei-Kaiser-Bund. If they added in the Tsar of Bulgaria it could even become the Vier-Kaiser-Bund.
