What would need to be Promised in order for Italy to join the Central Powers?

I want a Central Powers Italy in my timeline, however I hit a bit of a snag considering that Italy was demanding a lot from Austria to stay neutral. So I decided that the CP would need to additionally offer a lot to get Italy on their side. Whether or not they win the war or they get what was promised even if they did is not of my concern. I just want to know if my proposed offer would be enough to entice Italy.

My plan is that the CP offer them Corsica, Nice, Savoy, Tunisia, French Somalia and maybe British Somalia and Albania. Is this enough for Italy to join them?

Coal.

It was half of Italy's imports by volume and a similar % by value and it was in many ways irreplaceable to the Italian industry and economy. I'm not sure how you guarantee supply given the requirements of the war on German railroads.

Italy needed to import from Brirain and without that supply people would have gone cold and industry would have broken down.

The problem is not the offer, everybody in Rome know that Germany and A-H will have promised that and even more in exchange of the italian DoW; no the problem is that they also knew that they were very hollow promise and that Italy will have gained only what effectively had conquered.
Plus the idea to remain in an Europe utterly dominated by Germany with A-H as his principal ally were not really such pleasant thought.

Frankly you need some earlier PoD, at least in the Bosnian Crisis, that create better relations between Italy and A-H; i not say that they need to become bestest friends, but at least remain civil.
Basically no Conrand proposal to launch pre-empetive strike towards Italy to teach them a lesson, talking with the italian goverment before the annexation of Bosnia to make clear their position, taking a nap during the italian-ottoman war and keep Conrand sedated; every now and then throw to the italians a bone (nothing of extremely revolutionary, just the old diplomatic trick to make an alliance beneficial to both side and not thinking that having the honor to being an ally of A-H it's already the most precious of the rewards)

Maybe they could have promised the immediate cession of Libya to the Italians instead of only after the war, but the Central Powers already tried to outbid the Italians to their side with everything they could within logical geopolitical constraints. A diplomatic miracle could have convinced the Austrians to promise the Italians South Tyrol in exchange for their intervention against the Entente. Opening a second southern front against France could topple them over after all, but I fear the Italian Army will do much worse against the French. That's how I see it going.

Really you needed relations to be better or to have the CP start the war off looking much more like the victors. Say, Belgium actually lets the German Army pass, and/or the Germans fight even more successfully and advance much closer to Paris than IOTL, and/or the Austrians actually manage to clean up the Serbian military much quicker thanks to fortunate conditions. Maybe after the Ottoman Empire joins, it will look like the CP's victory is imminent.

The German government should have likely started with a goodwill move which I think it wasn't enough discussed here - offering excuses to Italy about not consulting Rome before since Sarajevo. Same for AH. Show some form of respect in short. Granted, Wilhelm or Franz Josef would never excuse no matter what, but their government privately could have let known the Italian one to be at least sad to see how the Triple Alliance collapsed since Libya.

In short, some form of private respect to mollify the Italian government and the crown could have likely allowed a more serene and positive negotiation. But Germanic pride was always impervious to concede trust over Italy.

Just think over the Germanic-Italian relations since 1861... Germany and Italy had everything to be best pals considering they unified one at the start and another at the end of the 1860's...two new European countries with something to prove to the older states of the continent. But I think the development of the war of 1866 was the reason their relationship was more ambivalent OTL. In short if Italy didn't have Custoza and Lissa Bismarck and the Prussian establishment would have respected the Italians more...
