What would it take for inter-war France to have a far-right government?

Is there any non-ASB way for France, despite winning the Great War, to end up with a far-right government? Be that Action Française getting into power, the PSF or PPF successfully challenging the Popular Front, or some other far-right group taking control, is it possible for France to fall to the far-right during the inter-war period?

Far-right groups, especially Action Française and the PPF, were active during the inter-war period, but never got much more than 100k in any election. Several coup attempts occurred, and there were the 1934, but none that I'm aware of posed a major risk of toppling the current government. So what do y'all thing? Is it possible for France to go far-right while still winning WWI, or does it need an earlier POD?

Communist Germany could do the trick, with the Red Scare propelling the far-right into power. Or maybe Britain (and America) screw over France at Versailles, leading to a mutilated peace like in Italy.

Italy won WWI and went far-right, so it’s not impossible. You just need a French “mutilated victory” (victoire mutilée?) and enough of a push to tip them over.

No reparations and return of Alsace-Lorraine at Versailles? The Americans being harsher with their debt repayment demands? I can’t see them losing territory anywhere, but if they felt their rewards for their sacrifices were insultingly small, it might generate enough support for a party that would want to challenge the balance of power?

Had Croix-de-feu gotten involved in the February 1934 riots, it'd have likely resulted in the overthrow of the third republic.

Pretty much used that in my timeline. La Rocque was pretty competent, I have him serving as Marshal of France, a title with history in the old French Kingdom.

Easy. The far-right forces in the 1934 crisis decided to unite and overthrow the Frnench government. It wasn't just the Croix-de-feu that participated in the riots.

What about a Napoleon-style military coup at the height of the riots spearheaded by the Hero of Verdun himself, Phillippe Petain?

Pétain was weak. His whole shtick was to not make any waves (he said it himself that's how he got his stars)

What you want is Lyautey, but he's too old in 1934. Get some more troubles after the Great Depression and you can get him at the forefront
