What would happen in a three way cold war

I was just wondering what the effects of a three way cold war between Nazi Germany, the USSR and some other NATO and how it could happen.

Could Goring come to power an save nazi germany from bankruptcy and at what point would that need to happen

who would be the first power to develop nuclear weapons

Would assault rifles become the Norm in the late 40s early 50s instead of later like the 60s and 70s.

How would technology advance like rocketry and jet craft.

What is the earliest point I could bring the USA out of isolationism and into the NATO/Allies

What happens to the world without ww2 and the effect it has on countries like france and russia.

In a way, it's what the thing was heading into 60s+, as PRC and USSR, while communists both, had divergent ideas, and well...

I thought that the PRC was heading for a more political alliance with the west and was only on the side of the USSR because of manipulation.

Good point. Would Nationalist China have any intentions to expand their influence in Asia and were there any factions to do it with.

Heck, they had the potential....

The obscure, post-Nam Sino-vietnamese short conflict was kinda this. OLD national... interests and blood between Vietnam and the Hans, and also punishing the pro USSR viets for 'mangling' the Khmers Rouges, who where leaning to the maoists, if I got things right, Maybe similar events in Laos, not sure...

Is there any way to have a North Korea/South Korea type thing going on in China with a Nazi backed Nationalist China and a USSR backed Communist government in Manchuria or somewhere else.

Also how can I stop the Nationalists losing purely because everybody hated them.

“The last time the Chinese came, they stayed a thousand years. The French are foreigners. They are weak. Colonialism is dying. The white man is finished in Asia. But if the Chinese stay now, they will never go. As for me, I prefer to sniff French shit for five years than to eat Chinese shit for the rest of my life.” — Hồ Chí Minh, 1946

Did Nationalist Vietnamese hold these beleifs. I wanted to see if a three way battle between USSR backed Ho-Chi-Minh, the French and Americans if I can get them there and Nazi backed nationalists, potentially Chinese backed Nationalists instead.

He was NATIONALIST too - and communist second, you could argue.

It's something you have to note, older than the idea of Communist itself - middle age, we speak of... I think something like the Trung(?) Sisters in 15th century. Like greeks and turks, kind of... It goes beyond the "new" ideas, this antagonism.

It's sure a possible 'battlefield' of an alt Cold War, any way China go...

Weird and dark idea; surviving Vichy (HOW?). Or a similar themed 'France in exile' or rebelious local leader... à la Apocalypse now. Or japanese similar poche of renenades, a rebelious leader. Of course, EVEN LESS creed and respect from the vietnameses than South Vietnam had, far less.

Also on USSR and PRC... There was 2-3 times in the 60s where their growing hostilities (started by the break of relations of Mao and teh Kremlin at least) got hotter, and they passed close to war, REAL war, due to frontiers incidents...

But during this timeline I think Mao wouldn't dare have hostilities with the Kremlin because he pretty much relies on them and will need there full support if he ever wants to fully control china.

Was there any leaders that could succeed Chiang-Kai-Shek that would be really good at there jobs or at least better than he was.

Who precisely would support the Nationalists? They got a fair bit of support or were courted by the Germans, Soviets, and Americans.

Germans would be supporting them, although maybe I can get both the Americans and Germans to support them.

Mao avoided fighting the Japanese whenever possible, expect when trying to disgrace and purge men or to blame it on the Nationalists.

Ahhh, right. Mao supported the Khemer despite their genocide against ethnic Chinese. The Nationalists would have taken the presence of so many Chinese in south east Asia and the East Indies in order to expand their influence. After first getting their own house in order, deal with criminal groups, sectarians, warlords, disasters... China was a big place.

With the Soviet Union now facing two enemies from the Fascists and Democracies would they focus on a really big army with a little less modern weaponry like the SKS instead of after ww2 when they downsized in order to have a well equipped modern army.

If the Russians didn't feel the power of an Assault rifle does that mean the AK gets pushed back.

I think china could be a good proving ground to bring weapons that only developed because of WW2 into TTL.
