What would be the treatment of Native Americans by peoples religions?

Come to think about it...
It has been claimed that Hinduism technically covers/includes pretty much all other religions (Polytheism? Sure, we've got that. Monotheism? Got you covered.),
but how is it in practice?
Does Hinduism really go the equivalent of "Well, this Wotan guy is obviously Mercury with á false eyepatch and a funny hat."?
("Come on! That is so a version of Krishna. They practically have the same name!")

Not really. Most religions that fall under the umbrella of Hinduism worship gods like Shiva and Vishnu, and contain concepts like karma and moksha. If, by some miracle, Hinduism got to the Americas, you'd almost certainly see merger of pantheons and local gods equated to native Hindu gods, as well as inclusions of Hindu philisophical constructs.
