What would a Wendell Wilkie presidency be like?

FDR's health was already declining by 1940, so lets wave a hand and say something happens which lets Wilkie pull off a win.

What will Wilkie's presidency be like?

The things that inherently come to mind are the break up of the TVA being an absolute, and probably similar programs of National Defense and Aid to Britain and China that we saw IOTL, with the potential exclusion of the "Shoot on Sight" Order for U-Boats before US Entry into the war, and potentially no quiet orders to allow the Chinese to recruit active-duty pilots for the Flying Tigers.

Unlike FDR he never really lost faith in the the ROC after the 1942 collapse so probably a different diplomatic relationship there, regardless of if you believe he was having an affair with Madam Chiang or not. He had a decent working relationship with Churchill during the war, and there aren't any reports of him actually having a bad time with any of the leaders he met as he killed himself flying around the world on diplomatic errands, so hard to say if there are any other big changes diplomatically.

Longer term Domestic discussion is more interesting, the GOP was really torn over what to do with the Second New Deal programs in 1940, Wilkie as a Dewey-side Democrat probably wont kill switch too many of them, but as a political amateur its questionable if he actually has the means to stop the Taft-side. Combine that with the vast differences that are easily done with war work at home and things can get rather crazy. Also worth noting that he was one of the many proponents in the Post-Landon GOP before 1968 who talked about forming a separate Liberal Party out of a chunk of the GOP and trying to scoop up what they could from the CIO, the Left-wing of the Democrats and the rest of the usual suspects. If he'd be willing to consider that while being a President is another question, but there is the potential.

And lastly of course is the issue that IOTL he didn't live to see the end of his term, and neither did his VP. So, unless the Doctors who didn't tell FDR he had cancer intervene to aid Wilkie with his health, the added load might kill him earlier, or he might live longer out of pure drive, or he might die around the same time and we get a wartime Secretary of State elevated to President, which might potentially (Lord, Help the Allied Cause) be Tom Dewey.
