The Germans had a WWII plan to counterfeit and mass produce the British pound, planning to "bombard" Britain with tons of it to cause Hyperinflation. But instead of it, The Germans used the money themselves, up to 300 million pounds were made, the question is: If that amount of Money was dropped during the Blitz, could the resulting Hyperinflation potentially knock Britain out of the War ? This assuming that the British intelligence didn't discover the plan like IOTL and didn't change the Pound notes.

The British government wasn't run by idiots from top to bottom. Sooner or later they will notice a large amount of counterfeit money.
I know this isn't realistic but I am more wanting to know the amount of damage of 300 million pounds dropped all over England during War Time than the feasibility of it.

The fact that it literally fell out of the sky would immediately reveal the origin and intent. An appeal to the British people to turn in the 'found money' would probably see the bulk of it secured. The remainder would probably do little harm.
