Its March 1918, what should the Germans do different than OTL:

a) Historical Kaiserschlacht (but play it out differently)
b) Attack in Flanders instead (do George, accepting a weather risk)
c) Try Verdun again
d) Attack on the Italian Front
e) Attack on the Salonika Front
f) Do something in the Mideast (is this logistically possible?)
g) Attack in Russia and finish of the communist regime (install a puppet government?)
h) Do nothing, stay on the defence, negotiate for best terms (is this politically impossible?)

IMHO, they should try some combination of e) and h) option.

That is probably the best (e and h), the best defence lines are the a) German frontier (short distance, rough terrain, plus pre war fortresses)
b) The Alpine line in Austria. A Germany that still has some morale, can feed and supply itself should be able to hold those lines for a long time and negotiate some sort of compromise peace.

But you have to hold onto the Salonika backdoor and keep ther Allies out of the Black Sea.
