What it if Germany forsakes A-H in 1914?

Belgrade should still have to be occupied and the Serbs taught a lesson, tho the Russians may be convinced to accept it.

Had Berlin known how much Vienna would cash their cheque for the Germans probably would have thought twice. Also if Wilhelm had been kept in the loop in the last few days, rather than kept out, things certainly may have unfolded differently.
 
If Germany doesn't participate, that means you have a London-Paris-Berlin "Peace Axis" that will lean on Moscow and Vienna to keep things under control, and which can exert a lot of influence on both nations because of their financial and/or military ties. That might lead to an explosion, or at least a redefinition of the Triple Entente as well as of the Triple Alliance IMHO.

It's not likely, but it would be interesting if this resulted in the formation of a Polish buffer state between Austria and Russia.
