What is the best chance for Irish liberation from Britain from 1750 to 1801?

Looking back, it is somewhat amazing that Ireland remained tied to Britain for so long.

When during the late 18th century was Ireland's best shot at seperating themselves from Britain?

Early American Revolutionary War? - Imagine if France and Spain managed to land their armada and the French in Ireland instead of dancing about the English Channel. Note that only in 1778 were reforms initiated to allow Catholics into the power structure, namely the army.

French Revolutionary Wary? - More than one effort to incite insurrection in Ireland (mostly half-assed) were attempted by the French. Poor weather stopped the incompetant French more than the Royal Navy.

7 Years War? - I don't recall reading of any significant attempts at rebellion by the Irish or to incite it by the French.

Feel free to hazard an opinion.

The Republican Invasion of Ireland during the War of the First Coalition is not delayed due to bad weather, or is carried out earlier/later and is successful.

If they had shipped more than 2,000 soldiers to Ireland in 1798, and before vinegar hill, they would've gained a lot more support than in OTL. Also, the rebellion would be able the spread outside of County Wexford with a victory at New Ross, as it would've opened roads to the countryside. With French support, Irish independence would be plausible.
