What impact do you think the parliamentary system would have had on the USA?

No term limits, a leader would stay in power until he/she lost the confidence the party which supported them. It would mean a few leaders remaining in power for over a decade and others getting turned over in less than a year.
 
Well this is just a guess here, but I think it would still look radically different from other Parliamentary systems. I could see the US basing it off of the British Style at the time we split (I honestly don't know how similar this is to what Congress looked like at the time) more than we already did but after that a US Parliament is going to undergo it's own changes and mutations over time. So it might make a huge impact or very little depending on how it develops.
 
I think were blessed by the lack of no confidence votes type shenanagins...let folks set an ageda n pay for it at the polls...
