What if there are no dogs on the Internet?

What if Internet anonymity never happed? What if it was seen as dangerous at an far earlier point in time before it became wide spread and was "solved" back then?

What the hell? Shouldn't this be in Non-Political Chat? I mean, no offence, but this seems like a bit of a ridiculous question to ask in this part of the forum.

EDIT- Funny cartoon though....

Internet anonymity is enormously overstated.

I wanted to explore the result of any POD that would create an alternate Internet where people are from the start accustomed to use their real identity, have a fixed address et cetera.
I think that is a valid question, maybe a little out of the box, but there are threads who for example discuss an earlier Internet or the French Mintel system. I see this thread in the same tradition. The fact that organizations like the pirate party exists should indicate that Internet privacy had a least some effects and the absence of those should cause a least some minor cultural shifts.
Maybe i should not use entertaining threat title that mislead form the original serious question.
