What if the Year Without A Summer Happened in 2019?

In our reality the year 1816 was sometimes known as the Year Without A Summer, probably because of Mt. Tambora's eruption the previous year, measuring at a 7 on the Volcanic Explosivity Index. What would happen if we got a repeat of this incident in 2019? How catastrophic would it be?

This should be in ASB.

But for Africa and poor areas of Asia this would be pretty bad. But at least Europe and North America would be better prepared so they wouldn't suffer so much. But problem would be then how to deal with massive immigration waves.

Mt. Pinatubo gave us a year of a cooler summer. Anything bigger would be worse. If anything, whether volcanoes or other large events disrupts agriculture world wide there will be massive famine. When it comes to volcanoes keep your fingers crossed because that's about all you can do.

I’d be crabby about the poor jogging weather and lack of days at the lake.

Also, the current US ag recession would get significantly worse.
