What if the Spainsh Armada had beaten the "Protestant Wind" by using steam power?

IThe premise is that it was enough to defeat the British. But whatever technology they had would spread into the north, among people who could take advantage of long winters and skilled craftsmanship to add to that technology.

I agree with the spirit but what the heck does the bolded part mean?
 
As American crops: corn, squash, potatoes, etc., move to Europe, an agricultural revolution becomes coincident with a steam revolution.

Those are new crops - they do not form any sort of agricultural revolution. The agricultural revolution is those events and processes introduced to increase the yield of crops as well as the mechanical means to harvest them. It became possible that fewer people were needed on the farms that freed up manpower to move to the cities are fuel the industrial revolution.
