What if the Mongols were Sinicized like the Qara Khitai?

If the Mongols prior to Genghis Khan had been Sinicized like the Kara Khitai, or the Kara Khitai were the ones who formed the "Mongol" Empire, how would it change the history of the 1200s and beyond?

The Mongols would be better accepted than OTL's very unpopular Yuan dynasty, however scinization means that the Mongols would have to abandon their grassland lifestyle (which as seen in OTL would need to take up much of the Han farmland, obstruct scinization and cause unrest). I would say that the Mongols would probably become something like the Liao and Jin before them. Whether they could conquer the Song is debatable.

The Kara Khitai adopted Chinese administrative elements and Chinese script without abandoning their pastoralist lifestyle.

The Kara Khitai never conquered any Han lands and thus didnt have to accommodate the Han. Meanwhile, Mongolia is much closer to Han lands and has to accommodate the Han.

While Sinicizing would give the Mongol rulers more legitimacy in China (similar to the Qing), it also effectively cuts off support from their own people, who might consider them too localized and detached from their roots (even the OTL Yuan was seen this way by the other Mongol hordes). In short, the Yuan might last longer, but end up manning the Great Wall against their original subjects in Mongolia.

Maybe segregating the Han and Mongolians while scinicizing the same time (like the Qing) could keep the Mongols populace happy?
