  1. Incase if your asking but wait Sam, there still some Germans living in Eastern Europe. True, but keep in mind, they're like few thousands of them currently, so that doesn't really count. The number of Germans in pre-WWII area were literally above ten million, meaning the Soviets not persecuting the German would've lead a cultural and political impact in Europe.
