What if The Day The Music Died won't happen?

On February 3, 1959, rock and roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson were killed in a plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa, together with pilot Roger Peterson. The event later became known as "The Day the Music Died", after singer-songwriter Don McLean so referred to it in his 1971 song "American Pie".

For IOTL, it was crashed leaving there's no survivors at all, but ITTL, the plane was still alive to avoid crashing along with the musicians who later went on to appear in other variety shows of the time during the 1960s.

I wonder - are some people here wondering who's Buddy Holly!?

Of the three - Buddy had the talent, to have carried on, his career like Roy Orbison may have got interrupted by the British Invasion (in their early years the Beatles used a lot of Buddy Holly material), but gets kick-started after an appearance at Woodstock.
