What if the Dark Ages had been longer

Probably a slower diffusion of ironworking into Western Europe and probably also a different tech trajectory for the EAstern Mediterranean, with indian and Mesopotamian civilisation having greater influence in Asia Minor. Of course Greece and Pheonicia are both gone from that world, too.
