What if the Beer Hall Putsch succeeded?

On 8th and 9th November 1923 Adolf Hitler tried to cease power in Munich.
It was a bumbling failure and Hitler was arrested.

What if it had succeeded?

Dawn on the Tenth of November 1923 sees Adolf Hitler in control of Central Munich.

What then?
Both short term and long term results please.

I don't believe Hitler's rule would have lasted long. First, the trial after the Putsch was Hitler's first exposure to the rest of Germany, meaning he didn't have much support from the people at that point. Neither did he have the organization he would have later, both the people and the structure. Most Germans were not fans of the early Nazis, Hitler was seen as an extremest and although he did have his devoted followers, I don't believe he could have quickly and effectively gained a long hold on Germany. He just didn't have the military and the people on his side just yet.
