If the Franco-Spanish Armada of 1779 lands an Army in the UK, what are the most likely results militarily, navally and diplomatically?
Would it result in the UK offering terms early? If so, do they make sacrifices like they made in 1783? If they are forced to give away more, what do they give away, and where?
Or do the British hold on and defeat the French Army? If they do that, are they exhausted and still likely to end the war early? Or are they exhilarated and more determined to raise forces to exact vengeance and punishment on their enemies in Europe and America, ironically uniting the country behind winning a war many had mixed feelings about.
