Who takes over Iraq after the power struggle.?

With no Gulf War, what happens to the presidential election in the USA?

At the time,I think Uday was Saddam's designated successor so he could either ascend 'peacefully' and due to his ego or other issues, potentially make the invasion worst or keep fighting after it.

OR

There could be some kind of civil unrest, with possibly an Anti-Uday Faction wanting to install his brother,Qusay,or possibly someone else who had a good bit of power at the time.

If Saddam dies, I am pretty sure Uday and Qusay would quickly join him.

Depends on who or what killed Saddam. If it was Israel or Iran then yeah sure, probably.

But if say Saddam tripped and fell down a staircase and busted his head open, then the Ba'athists will probably be able to act quickly enough to figure out a successor and keep it under wraps until then.
