What if Richard was able to have a marriage alliance with Philippe II

From what I read, Matilda of Brittany of Brittany died in 1189, what if Matilda of Brittany survives and becomes the bride of Louis VIII in 1195, the main reason why Eleanor of Brittany's betrothal failed is that she is the heiress of Arthur and the Emperor opposed the marriage between Eleanor of Brittany and Louis VIII in this case Mathilde and Louis VIII's marriage would have no opposition, because she is not the direct heir.

If Arthur is still killed and usurped by John what would happen?

Given the rumors about Richard and Phillip, this is not the thread I was expecting.

I'm guessing that the Queen of France isn't going to be a big fan of John's. In fact, it might not get as far as Arthur's death. If it does, Louis might end up anti-king a lot earlier.

I think the marriage with Leopold and Eleanor might push through as well..with the insistence of the emperor..

I've to point that these marriages weren't planned as alliance marriages (this is not CK II) but as peace sealing marriages as the crushing majority of Capetian-Plantagenet unions.
And you'd have more odds of a second head popping on Richard II and being elected Pope, than having an alliance between Capetians and Plantagenet at this point.
