Stalin did offer Poland anti Germany allies because few weeks before Nazi Germany invade Poland. What if Poland sign it would have spare Nazi Germany invasion or would Poland get invade anyway.

My feeling while Hitler invade Poland. Poland would able mobile entire force combine some Red army Russia still would lost on one hand. On other hand as it was they able hold combine might Russia and Germany one month. Poland with Russia help held off Nazi Germany for at least year. Germany also fight two front war since UK and France already at war Germany. While unlikely enough stop Germany movement slow it down. So we still had the Battle of Britain just happen year latter.

Sorry, what does this refer to? What was the offer and when was it made?

Similar 'offers' were made much earlier. But ‘several weeks’ before the outbreak of war, the point of no return had already been passed.

No self-respecting Polish government would ever agree to this.

EDIT: Nevermind, I misread the OP. Soviet, not German. You are quite correct in what you said.

But what were the nature of the offers, who made them and when?

Poland was to agree to the German annexation of Danzig, allow Germany the exterritorial route through the corridor, and co-ordinate its policy towards the Soviet Union with Germany (I don't remember wether it was explicitly stated that this would mean joining the anti-Comintern pact or not), effectively becoming a German satellite. In return, the new Polish-German frontier would be guaranteed. In return, Germany would guarantee the borders of Poland and extend the Polish-German non-aggression pact by 25 years.

The offer was made by Ribbentrop to the Polish ambassador to Germany in October 1938.

After March 39, after Bohemia and Moravia, everyone knows Hilter can't be trusted. And I can't see a Poland hitching their star to the red menace.
I am not sure what can be done at this point to improve Poland's security.

Probably the best thing is to do a pre Munich alliance with Czechoslovakia, to defend the status quo then, regardless of any sellout by the west.

No, not the German offer, the Soviet offers.

What was the nature of the aledged Soviet offers?

Sorry, I misread the OP. I do not recall the existence of any Soviet offers of this kind. Such an offer could not have been made in good faith, ‘pulling the imperialists’ chestnuts out of the fire for them’ by opposing Germany from the outset was the last thing Stalin would have wanted. An offer of a defensive alliance which would involve the Red Army coming to Poland’s ‘rescue’ would also never have been accepted by Poland under any circumstances.
