Would Jake Paul get a huge boost in Subscribers?

  • Yes he would grow from Logan Paul refugees

  • He'd gain some, but many Logangers would be lost.

So At the start of January 2018, Logan Paul vlogger uploaded a video called "I FOUND A DEAD BODY IN THE JAPANESE SUICIDE FOREST!!) Where during his vlogging in Japan (which he disrespected the Japanese culture) He went to the suicide forest, said some dumb stuff, and did some awful things, and his thumbnail had the dead body, only with the face censored.

The sad part is, he gained subscribers from this incident, and many still stuck by him when he made his awful apology tweet, and videos. Even when he deleted the video, Youtube put a reupload on trending and put his original video on trending despite the terrible message.

But what if? Logan Paul was terminated when this Drama went down? And Youtube went more hardline on controversy?

What would happen with the Logan refugees?

What would happen with Jake Paul?

Demonetization on Youtube?

Firstly Dramaalert and Scarce would be crying into their pillow. Would be celebrated by channels like idubbbz and h3h3 and a lot of others.

What would happen with the Logan refugees?

I think they go to other channels, maybe some to JakePaul but i ultimately think with the brother gone, Jake actually declines somewhat.

Alternately, he could do something crazy, he is one of the few youtubers where everyone is watching, he may go to Twitch, not neccesarily playing games, but doing livestream vlogs of him doing random things.

Where the brother goes, jake could follow. I think without Logan, Jake may take a hit in terms of growth since he himself has also been controversial. However on the flipside, maybe the brother gets involved and does better.

Demonetization on Youtube?

Absolutely, it could get even worse. This is up there with the pewdiepie and jontron stuff, maybe even bigger and worse.

I don't think Jake would decline. Without a competitor with Merchandise, Jake Paul's merch would dominate.

Logan might move to Twitch, but it wouldn't be as popular as his youtube. Especially since he's been terminated, his fanbase will be largely demotivated.

In this timeline Youtube might be more willing to snap necks on content creators, with a terrible outbreak like this, actions like this are going to scare more people.

I think the growth would slow via association, the merch on the other hand i think goes up still. He won't inherit the entire audience though i suspect. Mainly cause i think other youtubers will make sure it doesn't happen i feel.

Logan of course won't be as big but I think he could see a loyal following going over and he would still make money i'd imagine. Could also change twitch away from neccesarily gaming and could see the introduction of outdoor vlogging on twitch perhaps (i could see the idiot asking people what they want him to do in public) which could very well get him banned from there also.

Youtube already has been doing this, Logan Paul is the exception to this. Had this been any other youtuber, they would have been banned.

Logan would probably be more desperate. What makes vlogging good, is that it takes a lot of editors, and professionals to comprise a good vlog. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Twitch is that video uploading site like Youtube so that quality would be severely reduced. Twitch is also really hard on terms of service, so he'd have to be extra careful.

Google is scary but I'm relatively confident they don't have any T-1000s yet nor a habit of extra judicial killings of youtubers. T-800 perhaps.

livestream could work in a way, it would be interesting to see how it would work though (would almost be like reality tv in a way, but actually reality).
