Kim Il-Sung was raised in a Presbyterian family; his father was an elder and his grandfather was a minister. What if he continued to remain Presbyterian throughout his life. How big of an impact might it have on the Korean Peninsula?
the Soviets choose other as a leader of North Korea? Kim Il-Sung become just an ordinary man in the south, similar as Hitler become ordinary man if Germany won world war 1

Wouldn't go that far. His family was involved in nationalist politics, as was much of the Protestant clergy of the era. There's a chance (assuming his family survives the War in China) that he likely returns to the South, and might figure somewhat in the non-communist opposition to Syngman Rhee (assuming minimal butterflies on that front).
