What if Japan declared war on Russia instead of venturing into the Pacific? This would there would not be any attack on Pearl Harbour. Would this mean America never enters the war or enters or later on? How would no America or a late America change the course of the war? How would the Soviet Union fare from a two front war? Would they make peace with one side to focus on the other? Presumably it would Japan to focus on Germany. Would Germany still be pushed back thanks to the cold and the lack of supplies? Perhaps the Soviet Union manages to destroy Germany and take much more of Europe without America, taking the whole of Germany rather than just the East and also taking Italy, perhaps taking France aswell or part of it. Perhaps then there may be a even more powerful Soviet Union and a Japanese Empire who managed to survive World War Two. How would these two new empires take on the new world and how would America and Britain react? Or would there be a truce between Germany and Russia and both empires survive World War Two? What would happen then? What would happen after Hitler's death? Would the unstable politics of Germany result in a civil war which the Soviet Union takes advantage of and invades? Or perhaps the Soviet Union falls. What would happen after the war? Perhaps instead of communism risings there is fascist ones. Proxy wars between America and Germany. Then perhaps a civil war after Hitler's death results in American intervention and the collapse of the Nazi regime. IDK. What you think?
