By establishing mosques that preach Wahhabism and giving these mosques funding, Saudi Arabia spreads Wahhabism to many countries throughout the world, especially countries in the West. In the last few decades, $100 billion was spent by the Saudis to support these mosques, money derived from Saudi Arabia's vast oil wealth. In second half of the 20th Century, fifteen hundred Wahhabi mosques were constructed around the world.

So, what if Islamic terrorism wasn't a major problem, meaning that it still exists in some form, but is not as widespread as it is in our timeline? The POD being Ibn Saud failing and being killed in his attempt to capture Riyadh from the Ottoman-aligned Rashidis in 1902?
