Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain had hoped sincerely that Hitler would be sated with the taking over of the Sudentenland, his reasoning being that perhaps he just wanted to unite all “historically German” lands. What if this were in fact the case? Would WWII be stopped in it’s tracks? Or would Hitler’s satisfaction prove to not be much of a factor anyways?
What would convince Hitler to stop his plans for complete domination of Europe and settle for “a lot of but not total” domination of Europe?
Would WWII still occur? Given the state of the world at the time, it very well might have and there’s no guarantee that the Germans won’t hop in on one side or another if a war does happen, even if Hitler were satisfied.
