Gone Fishin'
Fredrick III was Emperor of Germany for only 99 days. A liberal who wanted to see greater representation of the common German people in Government, as well as having a more favorable view on the United Kingdom than his son, Wilhelm II, he was known for his hatred of war and desire to create a government based on that of the British. Passing away on the 15th of June, 1888, aged 56 as a result of complications with laryngeal cancer, he failed to accomplish much of what he set out to do.
So therefore, my question is this: What if Fredrick had lived long enough to make a more significant impact on Germany, and what would this do to effect the late 19th and early 20th Century?
