What if Edward vii assassinated while prince of wales?

As the title says what might be the result if Edward prince of wales was successfully assassinated by Jean-Baptise Sipedo in 1900.

While exploring events for my A.S.B timeline I came across the assassination attempt.

If the "Uncle of Europe" who's diplomatic skills are replaced by a new King who speaks no foreign language.

Would Britain still emerge from isolation, and join with France and Russia?

Would his Mother's vehement dislike of Germany ensure even worse relations?

If the Belgian court acquitted the killer due to his age would there be the same sentiment to protect its neutrality.

Or would the event result only in an Earlier George V and history go on almost unchanged?

Lots of questions that I am curious to see what others think.

Given Edward's reputation when Prince of Wales, there might actually be a sigh of relief from the British Establishment that it's George, who is a publically committed family man, who becomes King rather than Edward, who had a string of high profile mistresses.

It would delay the Entente with France but not make relations with Wilhelm in Germany any easier. By 1914 we could still be in the same position although if Germany gave commitments about Belgium's sovereignty we might not go to war in August, given that ITTL Belgium had not convicted Edward's murderer.

The death of her eldest son, on 4th April, 1900, poor Queen Victoria, would have buried her husband and now her son, may her grief will cause her to die, before, 22nd January 1901. Will she even see her 91st birthday in May?

Either way, his son, Prince George, Duke of York, will become the new Prince of Wales. And then become king within 9 months.

Without the Grandmother and Uncle of Europe, war may come sooner. The relationship between Britain and Belgium, will not be the same as the assassination combined with British disgust at Belgian atrocities in the Congo, will cause a lot of anger and disagreements.

George V, may draw closer to his cousin, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, and agree with Germany's need to conquer the Belgian states.

Could Edward's assassination cause World War One, similar to the assassination of Assassination of Franz Ferdinand?

Were the military establishments really ready to go to war in 1901 (or thereabouts)? And would such a war be more like a Prussia vs Austria or 1870 (relatively quick) than the never-ending meatgrinder of OTL WW1?

The Concert of Europe sanctioned the creation of Belgium in 1831 on the condition that the country remain strictly neutral.
Germany would support, Britains claim for revenge, while I could imagine, France supporting Belgium, with France going to war against, Britain, its ally Russia, will have to support them.
So this war would see:
Britain and Germany VS Belgium, France and Russia.
