What if Creed didn't break up?

What if Scott Stapp didn't break up with Creed, and they stayed a band? How would it impact music? Would it keep Hard Rock going popular?

Probably no big impact. I never had the impression that Creed was the fuel that kept the genre burning.

I can see them slowly head towards being heavier and heavier, though his troubles after the breakup may have resulted in an inevitable break up.

If Creed had stayed together, it would have been a disaster. Earthquakes would have destroyed Los Angeles, hurricanes would sink southern Florida into the ocean, volcanos would have erupted all over the Rockies, packs of wild dogs would be eating people in all the major cities of the globe, two headed babies would be born in India, blood would rain from the skies, the seas would boil, and locusts would devour everything in Canada.

Or maybe not.
