What If: Battle of Chickamauga

What if General William Rosecrans defeated General Braxton Bragg at the Battle of Chickamauga? What affect would this have on the war? Would Rosecrans be potentially sent East? What about Grant? Who would replace General Bragg and how would they handle the coming campaigns? Thanks guys.

Bragg pulls back to Dalton. My guess is Roscrans get reinforced by XI and XII corp under Hooker. Grant stays in Mississippi with the troops that OTL went to Chattanooga.

In late 1863: Grant pushes from Jackson towards Meridian, MS in a campaign aimed to take Mobile in 1864.
Rosecrans holds Bragg in Dalton with Thomas and sends Hooker's fresh troops to flank Dalton from the West.
After a Pyrrhic victory, Bragg pulls back to Resaca.
Bragg sacked replaced by?????

I imagine Roscrans would stay in command in Georgia until Atlanta falls at least.
Grant moves East the next time Lincoln removes the AotP commanding general.

Maybe Rosecrans is chosen as Lincoln's VP in 1864. Lincoln gets killed on schedule that would make the Victor of Chickamauga President.

Only if he ACW is over by the election of 1864 and maybe not even then. Andy Johnson was picked for a reason. He was the only Southern US Senator that remained loyal.
