What if astrioid that striped Mars Atmosphere not strike misson Mars

It was the solar wind that stripped away the atmosphere of Mars because it lacked a Magnetosphere. The only way to keep Mars potentially inhabitable would be to make it large enough to retain a molten core and generate a magnetic field as Earth does.

Assuming you are referring to the movie the idea that Mars was inhabited and the planet was wrecked by an asteroid strike is pure ASB.

I do not understand clearly
You mean Mars hit by a Comet, what thickening the Mars Atmosphere and kickstart a greenhouse effect years later ?

Wrong some scientist believe reason Mars warm first place because big asteroid cycle the planet Mars and did not end up crash into Mars. Mars kept Megantic field
Here my source http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/07/24/mars-magnetic-field-02.html

Sorry I realize English is not your first language but your posts are very hard to read.

Some scientists have speculated about such a notion but there's no evidence to support it and the cooling of the core was the critical factor.

it's not so ABS like Richter von Manthofen thinks
Remember how Jupiter was hit by Comet Shoemaker–Levy 9 ?

some thing like that on Mars could bring a short Mars spring.
with thickening the Mars Atmosphere and kickstart a greenhouse effect years later.
it will take sever decades, even centurys until by Solarwind stripped away the new atmosphere.

So what will give this for Manned Mars flight ?
except that Rober Zubrin goes on holy crusade against US Congress and Senate :D

The thicker Mars Atmosphere give better landing opportunity with parachutes or Lifting Body type craft
instead like the rocket powered landing of the last Mars Rover
also give the thicker Mars Atmosphere better protection against solar radiation
the gases brought by the Comet would be useful, like Nitrogen or Water vapor.

Because believe Mars once life all like animal life this point lack value for human life see USSR sending people care less live or died force start colony and do biological weapon research on Mars. This force USA to send people to Mars do the same thing leading new biological weapon research arm race.

Now we enter in the realm of "Alien Space Bat"
Why should the Soviet Union transport hundreds of tons on laboratory equipment to Mars for that ?
The Soviet union was proverbial "paved" with Bioweapon R&D Labs and Factories during Cold War

It would make more logical sense for Soviet union to build a Save haven on Mars, in case something goes wrong on Earth like Bioweapon outbreak or Nuclear War.

USA might well build safe house on Mars the Soviet unlikely able to do so they lack land men moon in 1970 they lack the able deploy safe house any time during Cold war forgive for suggestion Russia have the able. Making USA lot less careful come avoid nuclear war because now real is win able.

Off planet bio weapons research can be done in the moon as well, and it would be less expensive than Mars. And even that way, it wasn't attempted due the huge costs involved.

Can the gasses in a single comet affect an entire planetary atmosphere? I would guess whatever nitrogen and water the comet carries get dissipated into the atmosphere with little to no effect.

I think there's a bit of cross purposes here. the article the OP linked speculated that an asteroid orbiting Mars created the planet's magnetosphere and when it's orbit decayed and it hit the planet the core solidified and the magnetic field failed but there appears to be no evidence for this theory. I don't think they were suggesting a comet striking the planet to trigger a greenhouse effect.
