What if all (or at least many) of the Native American Tribal land claims on this map were given statehood over a period from 1783 to 1900?

Assume that first, in the ARW, the Iroquois join the patriot side. They are given statehood upon independence.

Afterward, US expansion is more like 'Napoleon Bonaparte' than 'Cecil Rhodes', and tribes are given self determination if they join the "Continental System".

They manage their own affairs and retain their native religions, although movement between is largely unrestricted, so Anglo settlers and traders do spread west... But the natives have the protection of US citizens due to the precedent set by the Iroquois becoming a state.

Of course many tribes would fight against the Union for their sovereignty, they wouldn't just join peacefully, so there would still be the Indian Wars, but they would be more like the wars between eastern European countries, or like premodern empires, than colonial wars.

They would also probably be pressured into selling their land, but with statehood the native nations have legal protection.

How does this change US history?
