what if Alexander II survived or escaped the assasination?

what if Alexander II escaped or survived the assassination attempt in 1881 and passed reforms?

Okay, the best knock effect I can gather from this Alexander III won't be the reactionary he was since he won't the rational have that even after what his father did he was still killed anyway. If there is a Russia with more democratic reforms there would be less of a need thing like a short victorious war that was thinking up to disastrous Russo-Japanese war and subsequent 1905 revolution.

Yet those would be butterflied away anyhow, so depending what this democratic Russia looks like and if anything can make Nicholas II more of a better ruler and maybe not marrying Alexandra it seems the Russian Monarchy would survive

Russia would be a Constitutional Monarchy or on the road to it, from what I remember Alexander the III had the paperwork on him to begin handing power to an elected Duma
