What happens to the British Empire after avoiding the American Revolution?

This is my "part 2" discussion of what would happen to the world if London and the Thirteen Colonies manage to reach an agreement and stave off revolution, with the POD in the late 1760s. Assume something like the Albany Plan and a heavily confederal BNA (British North America, what we're calling what would have been the OTL US and Canada but is part of the Empire) was agreed to, or several American Dominions in some diet union if you're inclined towards that arrangement, but still would generally be like a confederation.

So, my question is, what happens to the British Empire with a BNA? Would there be a focus on expanding control (more colonies, expanding the Informal Empire, etc.) with the Americas? What about India, Ireland, and Africa? And since America and London negotiated and compromised, would there be precedent for negotiations with these lands to keep them in the empire in exchange for autonomy?

For example, would the 1801 union of Ireland with Britain still have gone through with no ARW? Perhaps a continuation of that 1782 personal union with Britain (and an autonomous Irish parliament) would have gone on? And that 1782 arrangement reached because of a precedent of negotiations with a colonial entity?

I am referring to Grattan's Parliament. The ARW helped paved the way for the granting of freedom for the Irish parliament, but the French Revolution led to the Act of Union 1800, and the end of the Irish parliament.

It would definitely be a precedent, but how it works out wiill be intriguing

What is the arrangement? Is there anywhere else that realisticallly comes into play yet?

A butterflied ARW I think would probably delay the French Revolution, possibly to after 1800. If that is the case the major French political actors will be different. The revolt will take place but it would not be OTL's FR. So the Irish Act of Union might get butterflied.

I think the biggest single effect on the Empire will be on the action in India and Australia. In both cases there is the potential for war between the Empire and France. Possibly India, like Africa OTL will have Anglophone and Francophone areas.

Albany Plan, though taxation powers is given mostly to the provinces/colonies (Brit/Canada-wank terms, I know)

over time, the center of gravity of the British Empire shifts, yes?

Yes, I was thinking there would be a foreign policy of "two constables, two worlds" A British version of the Monroe Doctrine, though encouraging North American naval power to offset imperial defense costs in the New World. Gradually the British Empire becomes OTL US-dominated trans-Atlantic alliances and Monroe Doctrine with Latin America, and having control of South Africa, India, and some protectorates on the Arabian Peninsula, and other strategic locations around the world.
