Either Alaska remain part of Russia or United Kingdom buys or conquer Alaska later. In this case it probably would become part of Canada. I can't see there being independent Alaska. Probably Americans are not going to buy the area.

America (read: Seward) bought Alaska to strengthen the US presence on the Pacific; in a Confederate independence scenario, that's even more valuable since either Britain or France are outright hostile to the Union (be it openly supporting the Confederacy, or actually joining the ACW). A naval base or two in Alaska helps keep the north Pacific open - even if it's little more than a place to resupply, that has military value, and any bases would be near the friendly Russian nation.

So, America still buys Alaska; neither the reason Russia sold it, nor the reason America bought it, are changed.
