I’d like this thread to not primarily focus on Britain or why they behave this way, but rather how it will change the governments of Europe and their decision making?
If Britain isn’t getting involved, does France make guarantees to Poland and Czechoslovakia or follow through with them? Will they attempt pacts with the Soviet Union or Italy? If France finds itself alone, do they oppose Germany? And if France has no Great Power ally and gets a demand from a German-Italian Alliance, how do they respond?
If Britain shows relative indifference to the invasion of Ethiopia, will Italy move towards Germany?
If Britain gives no guarantee, does this encourage Poland to give in to German demands?
How do the Soviets try to handle things without Britain involving itself?
