What foreign policy would a Super Power, or upper tier Great Power India, Brazil, or Russia follow?

Let's say that some of the worst parts of Fabian socialism for India are avoided. With a PoD of 1947 then, India doesn't fully develop, but gets an income per capita at around $5,000 nominally by 1990 ($10,000 PPP) and $15,000 nominally by 2016 (with $25,000 PPP). Life expectancy is far higher, but TFR is reduced. OTL India's borders have around 1.1 billion people today (with slow growth) and 750 million in 1990, giving them an economy of 16.5 trillion today and 4 trillion at the end of the Cold War. They still have OTL system of government.

In a separate timeline, Brazil's mid 20th century dictatorships, through a combination of luck and skill, bring God Tier governance, on par with Singapore. By 1990 Brazil is on par with the US in terms on income levels nominally. They are also still Catholic and somewhat natalist. By the present they have 220 million people with a GDP per capita of $60,000 nominally. Let's say in scenario one they are still still a dictatorship similar to Singapore, and in scenario two they transition to democracy in the 80s.

In a separate timeline, with a late 80s PoD, the Soviets collapse and dissolve again, but keep Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. They economically implode again in the 90s and Putin manages to take office as OTL, but with a much larger population and geographic base.

To add another country, Indonesia avoids some of their OTL 90s mistakes, recovers economically by 2001, and gets their nominal income levels to around $10,000 today, giving them a GDP of 2.5 trillion, to become close to a lower tier great power status.

How would they behave compared to OTL?
