The oft-overlooked Lamian War, where a coalition of free Greek states faced off against the Regent Antipater in the wake of Alexander's death, resulted in the total defeat of the Panhellenic coalition in the wake of the treachery of the Athenian admirals at Amorgos in 322 BC. The resulting settlement ended the Athenian democracy and thalassocratic dominance, and was the end of independent city-states. I'm thinking of doing a TL on it, but i've most of my info from John Hale's excellent Lords of the Sea. What are the major contemporary sources?
